Highway Exit |
Junction of Highway # 44 south. Access to Town of Alsask, SK, Campground, picnic tables, pit toilets.
Great spot for lunch or overnighting. Alsask's name combines the names of Alberta and Saskatchewan, although it is a misconception that it straddles the border between the two provinces (it is actually adjacent to the border). Its most notable landmark is a radar dome used for many years by the Canadian Forces to aid in national defense.
