Highway # 11 - South Carolina - Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway
Scenic Highway 11 follows the same path that ancient Cherokee Indians once used as a trading route. This scenic path weaves through towering forests, racing rivers, pastures and quaint towns. It is host to nine of South carolinas State Parks as well as The Cowpens National Battlefield. Peach orchards
Unbelievable pink spreading for miles from late February through March framed by the backdrop of mountains. By this point the mountains are about 8-9 miles away. Another mile or so is Peach Country, a wonderful place to buy peaches in season. Ask for ready to eat or less ripe for a long car ride.Great peach slushy!

Junction of 276
A trip up 276 is well worth the time. Caesar’s Head State Park offers views and Raven Cliff Falls is a 420 foot high cascade in the Mountain Bridge Wilderness and Recreation area. A 2 mile hike is necessary to reach the falls. While there, a stop at the Mountain House Restaurant for unusual sandwiches and fudge are delightful.

Table Rock State Park
100 campsites, tents and RV, as well as some of the most spectacular views in North Greenville County. At 3,124 feet it’s hard to miss this landmark. According to legend, the Great Spirit used it as a table while nearby Stool Mountain served as a seat. Plan a 3 hour hike to the top, so be sure to bring the bottled water before having your breath absolutely taken away by the awesome views.

Historical Oconee Station
Built in 1792 as one in a series of blockhouses along the SC frontier. Garrisoned with troops until 1799. An adjacent building, the Richards House was built in 1805 and is believed to be the first brick house in the Northwest corner of SC. Nearby a 60 foot waterfall, Station Cove Falls is accessible from a hiking trail.
