Road Access
Road access to Medicine wheels or sacred hoops. These are stone structures which were built by certain North American indigenous people by arranging stones on the ground in a specific pattern. The wheels were used for teaching, ritual, astronomical, and healing purposes. The Bighorn Medicine Wheel is located in Wyoming's Big Horn Mountains near the Medicine Mountain peak at an elevation of about 10,000 feet. It dates back to the pre-Columbian era. Loaf-sized stones from nearby areas were used to build the structure.
