Medicine Bow Peak |
Diamond Face, a hill shaped like a diamond ahead of the State Highway #130 in the Snowy Range Mountains near Lake Marie, Wyoming. Medicine Bow Peak is located north of here, within Medicine Bow National Forest, and is the highest point n the Snowy Range of the Medicine Bow Mountains. You can see the summit from Snowy Range Pass when traveling on Wyoming Highway 130, a Wyoming Scenic Byway. A four-mile trail with switch-backs and a lot of loose rocks is frequently used to reach the peak. Trails leading to the summit are normally open from early June to mid-October.
