Highway #10 overlaps with highway #5. South to Riding National Park. Located amidst a sea of agricultural land, Riding Mountain rises dramatically from the prairie landscape. As part of the Manitoba Escarpment, this 'island' reserve protects a wide variety of wildlife and vegetation areas. Numerous hiking trails can be found at the park. Panoramic views of prairies stretching as far out to the north can be viewed from the Agassiz Tower. A full set of services including accommodations, shops, and restaurants are offered Wasagaming, the park's townsite.
