Access from highway. The museum is located in the former jail and town courthouse erected in 1878,is designated as a National and a Provincial and Historic Site. The museum features, displays of the early fishing industry, silver fox industry, military history, house hauling, early pharmacy, cobbler shop, cooper shop, local historic crafts, housewares, local folk art. The museum has a large collection of historical photographs. Open June-Sept, daily, 9:30 am-5:30 pm; Sun, 1-5 pm. Admission by donation.
