    Short drive into the famous village of Peggy's Cove is well worth it. Nova Scotia's best know and most photographed fishing village. Sit on the rocks and watch the oceans and the waves breaking on the shore for hours....nothing else like it. Attractions in and around Peggy's Cove, NS: Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, this famous lighthouse marks the eastern entrance of St. Margarets Bay. The light house station is situated on an granite outcrop at Peggys Point, immediately south of the village and its cove.

    Probably the most photographed lighthouse in Nova Scotia or all of Canada. The lighthouse now contains a small Canada Post office. During the summer months it serves as the village post office where visitors can send postcards and letters. Each piece of mail receives a special cancellation mark in the shape of the lighthouse.
