Access to Goldstream Provincial Park
East of highway. A few of the attractions that draw visitors to Goldstream Provincial Park are majestic waterfalls, birds, massive trees, a meandering river that meets the sea, and fascinating fish. This park offers 163 vehicle accessible campsites in a forest setting. Campsite reservations are accepted and first-come, first-served sites are also available. Goldstream Park is open all-year round, however facilities are limited. A fee is in place for winter camping.

East on Mill Bay Road. Bamberton Provincial Park offers 50 vehicle-accessible campsites, nestled amongst a mixed woodland forest. Campsites may be reserved, but sites on a firt-come, first-served basis are also available. Of particular interest in this park, fronting the west side of Saanich Inlet, are several arbutus trees. These trees have thick, leathery green leaves, reddish trunks, and peeling bark. Canada's only broadleaf evergreen, the arbutus, is found only on Vancouver Island and the lower coast of mainland British Columbia.
