West side of highway. The park is located at the south end of the wind river Canyon. Most of the facilities are around the lake but two campgrounds are below the dam along the Wind River. The elevation is 4,800 feet. Camping facilities at Lower Wind River: 50 sites of which 24 can be reserved. |
